A few weeks back Nigerian pop sensation  D’Banj was one of the speakers at the TEDxWBG conference in Washington DC. TED is a set of global conferences on technology, entertainment and design dedicated to ideas worth spreading.

The new Beats by Dre ambassador delivered a highly intellectual speech called“Believe In Yourself’  where he shared the stage with President of The World Bank – Jim Yong Kim.

Dapo Dbanj Oyebanjo is Nigeria’s first UN Ambassador for Peace and he gave his speech which explained how  he used music to inspire and empower the youth of his generation as well as  ending poverty. He also spoke about the role young people can play in transforming their societies.

At the end of his captivating speech he delivered a rendition of his hit song 'On Top Of The World'.
