Meet Wife Of Buhari's Running Mate

The emergence of  Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in next year’s presidential polls may not as come as a surprise to many Nigerians.
However, the choice of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, former Lagos State Attorney General, as Buhari’s running mate has come as a surprise to many.
This is because prior to the announcement earlier on December 17, 2014, top on the list of APC chieftains tipped to become Buhari’s running mate included Lagos State governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, Rivers State’s Rotimi Amaechi and the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
Though Osinbajo, who is a pastor in the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG), had been on the APC national leader’s radar since the 2015 race began.
Below is a brief profile of the wife of the former Lagos State Attorney General:

Mrs Oludolapo Osinbajo is a grandchild of the late Obafemi Awolowo.

She lost her mother Otunba Olubusola Soyode, one of the children of the late Awolowo, in 2011.
Mrs. Osinbajo is the leader of the Ladies Fellowship of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Jesus House Parish.
The couple is blessed with three children.
In 2007, Prof. Osinbajo and his wife founded “The Orderly Society Trust”, a non- governmental organization that is dedicated to the promotion of Christian ethics and orderliness.
